Business partnership will lay the foundation for pursuing future opportunities in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region
Earlier this year, at the start of summer and when uncertainty about the COVID-19 pandemic was at its height, ALEC, the Dubai-based multi-discipline contractor, announced a joint venture with CMiC, a Canadian firm based out of Toronto and specializing in ERP and field operations software for the construction industry.
In the statement at the time, ALEC said that it had conducted a thorough evaluation of several Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions and that it had selected CMiC’s complete enterprise platform to run its financial and field operations, because it was able to deliver a ‘single version of truth to users across all functional areas.’
“We relied heavily on a host of standalone applications to compensate for the limitations of our legacy ERP,” remarked Henry Loubser, Enterprise Resources Planning Manager at ALEC.
“We needed a platform that would consolidate, standardize, integrate and automate, which CMiC has demonstrated with their impressive customer roster, proven R&D track record and unparalleled industry expertise.”
