The ACE Mentor Program is a free after-school program that connects high-school students with AEC industry professionals. With an extensive network of volunteer mentors, the program aims to expose high-school students to the myriad of career options in design and construction. Through mentorship, internships and scholarships, ACE is not only helping to build a large, diverse workforce, but providing opportunities for students to pursue continuing education and training.
With the assistance of CMiC, ACE has now launched its first chapter in Canada, connecting students in the Greater Toronto Area with 20 volunteer mentors from leading area firms. The success of this expansion is a triumph for ACE and ensures the future of further Canadian chapters.
