Senior Project Controls Manager
Aaron is responsible for managing the project management portion of CMiC for Pankow. Works directly Senior Management for implementing new applications, custom reports/logs, training of company personnel and solving system errors and security setup. Aaron holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington and has been with Pankow for 21+ years, previously having served the company as a Project Manager prior to implementation of CMiC. Pankow has been on CMiC since June 2011. He has previously served as Project Management / Project Controls Product Lead.
BJ is currently the Applications Director at JE Dunn Construction. This includes working on implementations, training, development and support for JE Dunn, on both the Operations and Accounting fundamentals of the CMiC system and any technology application JE Dunn uses. BJ has 12 years of experience using the full CMiC enterprise system. BJ holds a BS Degree in Accounting and has worked at JE Dunn Construction for 12 years.
Candice Francis is the most recent addition to the product management team, bringing with her 4.5+ years of experience as a Solutions Consultant focused on CMiC Financials, Project Controls, Asset Management & Payroll. As a Product Manager, her focus will be in the Financials Business area. She is excited to collaborate with the CMiC user community to enhance the client experience while also delivering a comprehensive product to the market.
Chet Kuchyt is the Product Manager for Project Controls. He is responsible for guiding the success of Project Controls programs by overseeing the business strategy, enhancements, and roadmap. Kuchyt first joined CMiC in 2014 as an Experience Manager in the support department.
Cynthia is the Vice President of Information Technology at Walbridge. She is an experienced technologist with more than 30 years managing technologies and teams. Cynthia is excited about the accelerating future of technology in construction and sees the CMiC system as a core part of the foundation Walbridge builds from. Cynthia has been with Walbridge 24 years and credits the talented and diverse team of professionals she works with for never being content and always finding ways to break through the next challenge. Walbridge went Live on CMiC in 2018.
Dawn Floriano is a Senior Business Systems Analyst at AECOM Hunt and has been with the company for 4 years. Her current responsibilities include CMiC business process management, support and training. Dawn is also the Financials product lead for CMUG and is a member of the Steering Committee. Dawn has a degree in Public Relations from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater and is also a PMP.
Debbie Richardson is a Business Analyst who has been with Webcor Builders for the past eight years. Before joining Webcor’s Business Team she worked in operations at Webcor and helped to develop Mobile Crew Time with CMiC. Debbie has 15+ years’ experience in the Construction industry including accounting, payroll, and training. Debbie enjoys using her operations background to help users find tools that can help them streamline their processes and help them complete their jobs more efficiently.
As President & CEO of CMiC since 2002, Gord Rawlins is responsible for crafting and implementing the company’s overall business and product strategies. Rawlins first joined CMiC in 1989 as the team lead responsible for managing the design, development and release of the company’s first Oracle-based construction management software solution. During his early tenure with CMiC, Rawlins implemented over two hundred Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems at numerous construction firms throughout North America. His leadership and technical expertise have been instrumental in guiding CMiC into a new era of product innovation and profitable growth.
Rawlins holds a B.A. in English from York University and a B.Ed. in Accounting and Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
Imran Ahmed is the Product Manager responsible for planning and executing the lifecycle of the CMiC Human Capital Management application. Ahmed first joined CMiC in 1997 as a senior Oracle programmer and held a variety of positions before moving into his current role. Prior to CMiC, Ahmed was a programmer/DBA at Pyramid Technologies and a solutions provider at GlaxoSmithKline Inc., ICL and Lever Brothers. Ahmed is a graduate of the University of Karachi with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics & Statistics and holds a Diploma in Oracle DBA and Computer Programming.
As Chief Service Delivery Officer at CMiC, Jason is responsible for post-sale services, including customer implementations, training and upgrades for customers worldwide. Since joining the company in 1999, he has held a number of operational and service roles of increasing responsibility. Starting in 2010, Jason has led CMiC’s professional services, which comprise project management, consulting, training, design re-engineering, upgrades, ETL, customizations and DBA/hosting, leading to successful deployments for hundreds of customers. Prior to joining CMiC, he provided consulting and advisory services for a global legal consultancy & accounting software firm and worked for his family’s construction business.
Jason earned a B.A. in Business Finance from the University of Western Ontario.
Jason Stanley joined CMiC as a User Experience Lead in 2016. Stanley brought his 18 years of experience in user interface design, front-end development and balancing user needs with business goals to overhaul the look and usability of CMiC’s applications suite. He is skilled in all phases of software development and combines all of the above with his passion for excellent design to continue to deliver CMiC’s products to a growing list of clients.
As Chief Revenue Officer, Jeff Weiss draws on nearly three decades of experience in the B2B software industry to lead outside and inside sales, solutions consulting and marketing at CMiC. Responsible for driving worldwide revenue growth, Weiss has been instrumental in forging and expanding CMiC’s successful partnerships with hundreds of North America’s leading construction firms. Weiss first joined CMiC in 1991 as a Senior Systems Consultant until his promotion to Director of International Business in 1993 and then to Vice President in 1995.
Weiss holds an MS in Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from York University.
Joel Kadish is the Product Manager for Field, CMiC’s Project Management toolkit. Joel is focused on creating and enhancing CMiC programs that help users get everyday jobs done and lead to increased alignment, oversight and communication on your projects. Joel has spent the last year and a half at CMiC using his skill and training as a Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology to better understand customer problems and craft construction-minded solutions.
Karen is the Financial Manager for J.H. Findorff & Son Inc., in Madison, WI. Karen facilitates collaboration between project management and accounting while overseeing teams in AP, Yard Accounting and Project Cost Accounting. Karen also leads the Business Solutions team and works closely with Findorff’s Business Analysts on data analytics and reporting. She works with various CMiC modules, such as job costing, job billing, GL, AR and AP to test and develop enhancements and new functionality in CMiC and also designs financial reports utilizing the FMW software. Karen is currently the Chair of the CMiC Users Group (CMUG). Karen has a Bachelor in Science from Northern Illinois University and nineteen years in the construction industry.
Ken Wiafe is the newest addition to the Product Management team at CMiC. Given his background in UX design and working with start-ups, his sole focus has been on the development of the new and improved Mobile Field application. He holds a Master of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology degree from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor of Industrial design degree from Carleton University.
Kevin is a Sr. Application Specialist at AECOM Hunt responsible for CMiC and other corporate applications. He has been at Hunt for over 17 years, starting as a help desk support specialist before moving on to the Application Specialist role a few years after joining the company. He has worked with senior leadership to implement solutions based on business need, and lead projects to bridge the gap between business and application processes. His current responsibilities include CMiC security, development, support and managing compliance for the CMiC Application. Kevin is currently the CMUG Infrastructure Leader. He holds a BS in Software Engineering and Associates Degree in Specialized Business, Programming.
Kimberly Roberts has been with Webcor Builders for the past three years as Business Analyst and Application Manager. As a member of the Business Team at Webcor, Kimberly brings experience with process mapping, workflows, user training, reporting and problem solving.
Kimberly’s background includes accounting, operations, application support, report and database development since 1991. Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.
Len has been with CMiC for over 22 years. He is currently manages Product Development for ECM (Enterprise Content Management), which includes Imaging, Workflow Builder, and MIP (Microsoft Integration Package.)
Mike started at the Walsh Group in 1997 the day after graduating from DePaul University in Chicago, IL with a BS in Mathematics. In his 23 years with Walsh, he has worked in all aspects of IT, from hardware and PC support, to software development and training. He was the IT PM on Walsh’s internal implementation team. When not working, he plays guitar and piano in Walsh’s house band, Missing Ted. His favorite pie is apple.
Oliver Ritchie develops strategies focused on advancing business process best practices and translating them into new product capabilities for the construction industry as the VP of Technology & Innovation at CMiC. Ritchie has spent the last 20 years of his career at CMiC, where he has held previous roles in product development and product management. Ritchie also serves on several corporate steering committees, contributes regularly to publications about executive management & leadership and speaks frequently at industry forums.
Ritchie holds a BS in Computer Science from York University.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst for Oltmans Construction Company for the past five years, Rachel Barker is experienced in business process design, data analysis, and development of reports, workflows, database programs, and APEX applications. Driven by a passion for solving business problems using innovative development techniques, she takes pride in providing the best business process design and business intelligence solutions possible.
Rachel has a solid background in accounting, construction accounting management, report design, and programming since 1998. Her understanding of the production and accounting aspects of the construction business allows her to inspire inter-departmental collaboration, offer insightful analysis, and anticipate business needs. Rachel enthusiastically contributes to the CMiC Users Group as the leader of both the BI/Reporting/Analytics special interest group and the Workflow special interest group, in addition to being a member of the CMUG Steering Committee. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration / Accounting, and currently resides near San Diego, California.
Steve Cangiano is CMiC’s Director of Product Management. He is responsible for overseeing the Product Management department and their goal to deliver reliable and well-designed software for CMiC’s customers. Joining CMiC in 2013, Steve started his career in Pre-sales (Solutions) before being moving on to his first Product Management role focusing on CMiC’s Mobile Field app. He enjoys meeting with customers to map out new features that can help make their workflow more efficient and capture better data.
Vince Di Piazza joined CMiC in 2007 as the IT Manager. Drawing from a wealth of knowledge and his experience consulting in the online security sector for Top 100 companies on Wall Street and the American federal penitentiary system, Di Piazza has optimized and breathed new life into CMiC’s network infrastructure by providing strategic leadership in security, risk management and compliance. He currently serves as the Director of IT and Cloud Infrastructure at CMiC responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy and program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected.
